St. Mark’s 2nd Grade

Thank you to the students and families from St. Mark’s 2nd Grade Class. Granny is a 2nd grade teacher and they sent a gift basket for me. While the Cowboys aren’t my favorite team (Go Browns) I will think of the class when I wear the shirt and jersey. Thank you for all the wonderful gift cards you gave me. I look forward to using them sometime soon. IMG_0198.jpg

    Eric:

Don’t think I’ve been neglecting you… I’ve be watchin’. You are quite a guy. I’ve had some good conversations with friends about you and they are very supportive of what you are doing and wish you well. It seems like the entertainment business people seem to know what it’s like to struggle and then enjoy the ride when it’s good. Kind of like what you are doing.

You’ve gone through a lot and now in your time of healing, you will feel the wonder of success. You are strong and healthy. That’s very good. Just keep focusing on the wonders that life is giving you and enjoy the ride.

Congratulations on a job well done. You have been an inspiration to many and the is a special place in this life for you.

Continue to grow strong and watch how the world will unfold for you in years to come. You are going places that even you will not believe until it happens.

Keep it up. I’m out here watchin’, and sharing in your journey.

You are still in my thoughts and prayers.

HAHA! It is about time you get the Cowboys gear! You live in Dallas, so you have to start liking them. :)

    “That’s my teammate…. sniff sniff… That’s my quarterback.”

  4. Maureen--cousin from California says:

    Hi Eric,

Great to see you smiling with your Grandma. You have really been such an inspiration to so many folks. I read the article about you in the newspaper–you are truly awesome. I am so glad your recovery has gone so smoothly. Pretty soon they will be sending you back to school :( You probably will be hapy to see all of your classmates though.

I really like your idea of helping all the kids at the hospital. You know what sort of things they would enjoy.

Please continue to heal and follow all your doctor’s (and Mom’s) orders.

    Love, Maureen

  8. Kayla says:

That’s great that you aren’t a fan of the Cowboys! Lol… It’s all about Cleveland!!! Right?
Hey Eric, I haven’t posted in a while, been grounded… But I’m checking in seeing how you’re doing. Can’t wait for April 2nd! Cleveland Indians openning game will be on that day. So hopefully you jump right back into school with high spirits and you’ll do great. Just remember that school will get you through what you’re dealing with. Keep your friends close and they’ll pull you through with open arms!

    Be safe,

    Eric,
It has been quite a while since your surgery. Hope everything is going well. You looked great in your last photo. We had a scare last week with the 14 tornadoes in 24 hrs in the Atlanta metro area. Living in the south, it’s kind of expected, but when it gets close to home, WHOA!

  10. Paul Belfi says:

    Hi Eric!

Sorry I’ve been away for so long – you know how it gets though I’m sure. A quality win by the Cavaliers tonight against the rat b*****d Pistons AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I’ll take a win over those goons any day of the week.

Listen I wanted to let you know about our March Madness contest we are running on the site and I hope you get a chance to enter. Here’s the link!

I hope you are doing well and I promise to check back more frequently. I’m dealing with some unpleasantness right now but will hope to get through it.

    Always thinking of you buddy!

    Your friend Paul!

    Eric,

Thank you for sharing your experiences. My son will be having the same surgery at Scottish Rite next month, and you are an inspiration. My blog was tagged, so I am choosing to tag your blog so that others can read about you and your experiences.

    Best wishes….

Sometimes it’s really that simple, isn’t it? I feel a little stupid for not thinking of this myself/earlier, though.
